Game Night Guide: Prepping for full weekend slate of Illinois and Missouri high school football games
QUINCY — Here is a look at the area football games scheduled to be played Friday and Saturday with links to radio broadcasts and livestreams:
Friday’s games
Moline (1-2) at Quincy High School (3-0), 7 p.m.
Did you know?: Moline had a string of 15 consecutive Western Big 6 Conference victories snapped with last week’s 24-21 loss to Geneseo. The Blue Devils haven’t beaten the Maroons since 2016 when they scored a 72-50 victory. Four of the past five meetings have been decided by 14 points or fewer with two one-possession games. Quincy currently has the WB6’s leading rusher in Jeraius Rice (389 yards), passer in Bradyn Little (848 yards) and receiver in Tykell Hammers (277 yards).
Fulton at Hannibal (2-1), 7 p.m.
Did you know?: The Pirates have won 13 North Central Missouri Conference games in a row, dating back to a 14-13 loss to Moberly in 2020.
Triopia (1-2) at Brown County (0-3), 7 p.m.

Did you know?: The Hornets haven’t started a season 0-3 since 2002 when they finished 1-8 in Tom Little’s first season as head coach.
New Berlin (2-1) at Pittsfield (0-3), 7 p.m.

Did you know?: The Saukees play Maroa-Forsyth, the top-ranked team in Class 2A, next week on the road, but the schedule softens after that. Three of Pittsfield’s final four opponents are currently winless.
Monroe City (3-0) at South Shelby (3-0), 7 p.m.
Did you know?: Monroe City has won 15 consecutive regular-season games and is 32-4 in its last 36 games. South Shelby has not won the Clarence Cannon Conference championship since 2005.
Palmyra (0-3) at Macon (0-3), 7 p.m.
Did you know?: Last week’s 35-24 loss to Centralia not only showed marked improvement for Palmyra over the first two weeks, but it was the first time it had scored against its Clarence Cannon Conference rival since 2020.
Clark County (3-0) at Highland (2-1), 7 p.m.

Did you know?: The Cougars have beaten the Indians only once in their last 10 meetings — a 38-0 victory in 2021.
Montgomery County (2-1) at Mark Twain (0-3), 7 p.m.
Did you know?: The Tigers lost four consecutive times to the Wildcats before winning the past two seasons by a combined score of 88-26.
Saturday’s games
Lift for Life (3-0) at Quincy Notre Dame (0-3), 1 p.m.

Did you know?: The Hawks ranked fifth in the Missouri Class 2 state poll. A charter school in St. Louis that opened in 2000, Lift for Life has reached the state quarterfinals each of the past two seasons. The Raiders last started 0-3 in 2018 in Jack Cornell’s first season as head coach.
Central (3-0) at Unity-Payson (1-2), 6 p.m.

Did you know?: The Panthers are riding a nine-game winning streak in Western Illinois Valley Conference North Division play. The last time the Mustangs upended the Panthers was in 2016 when a 28-14 victory punctuated Unity-Payson’s undefeated run to a conference title.
Macomb (2-1) at West Hancock (0-3), 2 p.m.
Did you know?: The Titans have scored nearly as many points in their first three games this season (62) as they did over nine games in each of the previous two seasons (72 points in 2022 and 82 in 2021). The Bombers have won 13 of their last 14 Prairieland Conference games.
South Fulton (2-1) at Illini West (1-2), 11 a.m.
Did you know?: Four of the six teams remaining on the Chargers’ schedule have winning records. The Rebels have allowed just six points the past two weeks.
Carrollton (3-0) at Pleasant Hill (0-3), 2 p.m.

Did you know?: This will be the Wolves’ first home game since vandals did donuts and left runs in the football field. The Pleasant Hill administration and coaching staff have worked tirelessly to repair the damage and get the field ready for play.
