QUINCY — Anika Reddy and Lily Hayes each lost only one game in their top two singles matches as the Quincy High School girls tennis team overwhelmed Galesburg with a 9-0 victory Tuesday at the Greeman Tennis Center in Reservoir Park.

Reddy, a sophomore playing No. 1, beat the Silver Streaks’ Addy McLaughlin 6-0, 6-1, while Hayes, a senior playing No. 2, beat Madison Springer 6-0, 6-1. The Blue Devils swept all six singles matches, losing just 11 games total. Sophomore Mary Dodd won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.

The three QHS doubles teams won by a combined score of 24-2.
