Liberty 40, Jacksonville Routt 34: The state-ranked Eagles needed a fourth-quarter rally to advance to Saturday night’s championship game. Trailing the Rockets by three heading to the fourth quarter, Liberty got 3-pointers from Reece Knuffman and Cannen Wolf and went 7 of 12 from the free-throw line to outscore Routt 15-6 down the stretch. Wolf and Breighton Klingele each scored 11 points for the Eagles, ranked sixth in Class 1A.
Central 60, Carlinville 45: Nick Moore and Breyhar Wiskirchen combined to make five 3-pointers in a 23-point first quarter that propelled the Panthers to the consolation championship game. Keaton Dickhut led the Panthers with 14 points, while Moore had 13 and Wiskirchen and Isaac Genenbacher had 12 points apiece.
Greenfield-Northwestern 60, Western 36: The Tigers built a 32-21 lead at halftime and held the Wildcats to two points in the fourth quarter to dispatch any notion of a comeback. Mason Smith led the Wildcats with 16 points.
At Monroe City, Mo.
Monroe City 72, Clark County 26: An 18-8 burst in the second quarter gave the Panthers all the cushion they needed to roll to the Clarence Cannon Conference victory. Joshua Talton led Monroe City with 18 points as 11 different Panthers scored.
At Centralia, Mo.
Centralia 68, Palmyra 38: Bear Bock scored 13 points and Alex Loman added 12 as Palmyra fell in its Clarence Cannon Conference opener.

At Monroe City, Mo.
Monroe City 54, Clark County 39: A 19-7 burst in the third quarter carried the Panthers to victory in their Clarence Cannon Conference opener. Mari Gares finished with a game-high 23 points for Monroe City, scoring 12 points in the third quarter.
At Ewing, Mo.
Macon 45, Highland 28: Ansley Bringer scored 10 of her 19 points in the fourth quarter to attempt to rally the Cougars, who were held to one field goal and three points in the first quarter of the Clarence Cannon Conference loss.
