QUINCY — Hunter Voth refuses to let anything stand in the way of his dream of someday becoming the radio play-by-play voice of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Autism is one of those obstacles he simply pushes past.

A Unity High School graduate who is a student assistant with the John Wood Community College men’s basketball program, Voth hosts his own podcast — The Hunt V Show — and does play-by-play for Unity games on the school’s YouTube channel.

Voth joined Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman on the tailgate of his pickup to discuss his broadcasting dreams, his love of the Cardinals and how he can be an inspiration during Autism Awareness Month during this episode of “Schuck on a Truck,” brought to you by Area Distributors.
