Photo gallery: QHS boys tennis team fights off Macomb to win dual at Reservoir Park

QUINCY — Despite losing two of the top three singles matches Tuesday, the Quincy High School boys tennis team showed resilience in fighting back to defeat Macomb 6-3 by winning three tiebreakers in singles at the Greeman Tennis Center at Reservoir Park.

No. 2 Surya Reddy rebounded for a 6-2, 2-6 (10-6) victory over the Bombers’ Harry Kennedey, while the Blue Devils’ Ethan Stark beat Sherman Bernards 6-4, 1-6 (10-4) at No. 5 singles and QHS’s Preston Trinh rallied for a 6-4, 1-6 (10-4) victory over Zac Green at No. 6 singles. Jason Darian also won a singles match for Quincy, beating Conner Clark 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4.

In doubles play, Reddy and Will Hanlin teamed up for an 8-3 victory for Quincy at No. 1, while Stark and Trinh won 8-3 at No. 2.
