Liberty 79, Beardstown 35: Breiton Klingele scored 16 points in the first quarter as the Eagles built a 43-17 lead by halftime in improving to 7-1 overall. Klingele finished with 31 points. Devin Klauser added 12 points for Liberty.

At Concord, Ill.

Triopia 60, Payson Seymour 54: Bryan Dieker led the Indians with 14 points, while Aidan Perry added 13 as Payson fell to 4-2.

At Camp Point, Ill.

Central 51, Western 28: The Panthers held the Wildcats to one field goal in the first quarter while building a 19-3 edge. Isaac Genenbacher led Central with 17 points, while Dylan Dickhut added 16. Casen Tobias led Western with 12 points.

At Griggsville, Ill.

Pittsfield 34, Griggsville-Perry 31: Despite 1 of 8 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter and 6 of 16 from the line overall, the Saukees were able to survive. Tate Kunzeman scored nine of his game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter for the Tornadoes, who limited the Saukees to six points in the final frame. T.J. Reel led Pittsfield with 15 points.

At Moberly, Mo.

Hannibal 55, Moberly 32: Aaris Stolte scored seven of the Pirates’ 14 points in the second quarter as they outscored the Spartans 14-6 and took control. Stolte finished with 25 points, including going 7 of 8 from three free-throw line in the second half. Hayden Robertson added 14 points for Hannibal.

At Center, Mo.

Mark Twain 55, North Point 22: LaKods Preston scored 18 points and Conner Eckler had 13 points to lead the Tigers.

Mark Twain 51, Monroe City 47: The Tigers outscored the Panthers 6-2 in overtime to secure the victory. Mark Twain went 4 of 8 from the free-throw line in overtime to grab the advantage. Audrey Ross led Mark Twain with 19 points, while Autumn Arndt added 11 points. Lucy Pratt led Monroe City with 11 points, while Mari Gares and Audri Youngblood had 10 points apiece.

At Redbird Arena, Normal, Ill.

Illinois State 81, Quincy University 63: Playing without three of its top three scorers, the Hawks fell into a 16-3 hole in the game’s first seven minutes and lost to the NCAA Division I program. This served as an exhibition game for the Hawks, who will play Iowa Wesleyan at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Silas Crisler led Quincy with 15 points, while Adam Price scored 14 points. Both went 3 of 4 from 3-point range.

At Ina, Ill.

John Wood Community College 66, Rend Lake 56: Jarvis Jennings scored 27 points and Gabe Cox added 14 as the Trail Blazers head into the Christmas break with a 10-4 record and a four-game winning streak.
